I have many years of experience as a national and regional newspaper journalist. I started my career working on a busy local newspaper in East London before moving to national newspapers.
My early years were spent as a showbiz reporter for The Sun and then The Daily Mirror. I later moved to the Sunday Mirror to work as a feature writer and then moved to work on news including investigations. After three years at the Sunday Mirror, I was promoted to work as Assistant News Editor for The People which involved managing a team of reporters. I have recently worked as acting News Editor on my local daily paper The Argus which covers Brighton and Hove and the surrounding areas.
I still enjoy writing all types of journalism whether it is news or features. I have an innate ability to spot a good story and my interviewing skills are excellent.
As a freelance journalist, I have written articles for many publications and websites including The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Daily Mail, Pick Me Up, TV Quick, Channel 4 and Granada.
If you need a good, reliable and accurate writer to produce features, case studies or news stories, call me.
And if you have a good story which you think the media will be interested, I can advise you on how to sell your story and place it with a reputable publication.
